Kyle will be one of the younger players on the 2017 Miners’ roster as the freshman year of his college baseball career just launched on February 17. However, he joined the University of Incarnate Word (located in San Antonio, TX) baseball team fresh off a great high school career at Bridge City (TX) High School. He signed his college letter of intent to attend UIW in November, 2015 during his senior year as a high school student. His skills were another great addition for UIW, which is an NCAA D-I school that plays in the Southland Conference.
His high school baseball team’s program has a reputation annually of being one of the best in southeast Texas. In addition to featuring a consistent bat and carrying the reputation of being a steady player, he was also saw duty on the mound for Bridge City in 2016 and climbed to being considered as the ace of the pitching staff.
