Levi Nash is a 5’ 11’’ 180-pound freshman from the University of Charleston. This year at the University of Charleston, Levi was a main contributor in the back end of the bullpen for the Golden Eagles. For Charleston, Nash appeared in 16 games throwing in 22 1/3 innings allowing 11 earned runs, while collecting 5 saves this year. Levi also struck out 17 hitters to only 9 walks in his freshman campaign for the Golden Eagles.
Levi is one of two players now from the University of Charleston to join the Miners, as Levi will join Colby Johnson on the 2017 West Virginia Miners roster. Levi is also a local kid as he grew up and played his high school baseball at PikeView High School in Athens, West Virginia. In Levi’s senior season, he led PikeView on a state championship run that ended in the state finals against Bridgeport. Levi was integral part in not only reaching the state championship in his final season at PikeView, but he helped PikeView get to state championship play in his final 2 years of high school.
