Jeffrey is a 5-11, 225 pound junior who played during the spring of 2017 for Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. The school is a member of the NCAA Division I nine-team Atlantic Sun Conference. His first two seasons (2015 and 2016) behind the plate at Lipscomb allowed him to demonstrate his defensive prowess in 48 games by recording 286 putouts and 49 assists while committing only three errors over the two-year span. Also, his combined totals for the 2015 and 2016 campaigns saw him throw out 16 potential basestealers in 45 attempts, a .356 success ratio.
